Exaggerations of History

The title of this artwork is Having Fun with Friends, an abstract painting done in acrylics. The painting has a lot of movement in the traces it has. The main colors are pink and orange contrasted with white and indigo blue. It has swirls of copper-gold and tiny details. This painting came to give life to a period of time where most of the world was isolated. Apia imagined having a celebration with family and friends.

The title of this artwork is Love, an abstract painting done in acrylics on canvas. The painting has a lot of movement. The main colors are pink and orange and yellow surrounded by white and very light blue. The artist characteristic fluid lines in indigo blue give life to the whole painting. In the artist language, Love represents the love between a couple and all that life has to offer, good and bad. Raw as it comes naturally when you share a life together. There are subtle touches of spray paint done in a similar way to cave paintings.

The title of this artwork is Caribbean Dream, acrylic on canvas. Measuring 24x20x1.5. Since Apia, the artist, lives in Florida, she shared here the way she sees the colors of the places she is surrounded with.
